What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
